Im Black and have curly hair, so it ends up growing back into my skin. The last foil shaver I had was an Andis that also cut too close. And single blade razors require a lot of trial and error to find how many passes are good enough. As far as work, the only time its a concern is on my reserve weekend. But even the military doesnt require baby bottom smooth unless youre in basic training, a school, or an inspection. No one is going to come rub their hands across your face unless they want to be put on the ground forcefully lol. At my civilian job, well I just wouldnt work for an employer that regulated my facial hair. I retire from the military in 3 years and plan to grow my beard and have a medium fade tapered into locs. --- If you're not getting promoted, it's not because you're not good at your job.
