Still looks clean shaven, even if there's a bit of stubble. More than that leads to ingrown hairs for me. Everyone's different of course. I know (black) guys that can do every other day. Another thing to be very conscious of with curly hair is the direction of growth. Cheeks, chin and neck can all grow in different directions at the same time.
