Well then change the nation. Is not tipping actually going to force employers to pay their employees a livable wage? Or is it essentially a useless form of protest? I'd stop tipping right now if I believed that would somehow directly lead to change.

I've spent enough time in America to have vitriol for employers, customers, and even other workers. When you're treated like shit by a customer, you don't go "Ah well I can't be mad. It's my employers fault for not protecting me! The customer is blameless!"
