Look, it'd be cool if you were just a sociopath and didn't care about anything in general, but it's a bit gear grinding when someome seemingly admits to a lack of basic decency and empathy on a personal level, but simulanenously still tries to guilt trip and shame others along social justice lines. "She's not bad for dating a married guy but you're sure misogynistic for disapproving." You can't just pick and choose which moral responsibilities others should care about.

If someone's ignorant of the other person's marital status then that's not on them, and if the marriage is already seperating then it's whatever, but knowingly choosing to get involved with someone in a marriage they have no intention of ending is just gross. In that case you are willingly dating a duplicitous piece of shit.

And yet, without knowing any of these circumstances, you choose to throw around the term 'homewrecker', and do not even consider the responsibility of the married partner.

I hold their responsibility to be greater, because they have the greater obligation to their family.

Then FDR is also kind of a shitty guy, regardless of his general effectiveness as president (internment camps aside).

So marital fidelity isn't really relevant to presidential effectiveness. Which was my point.
