Close enough. I read his biography. It's that he was refusing treatment, and that he found the fruit smoothies that were also supposed to be part of his diet weren't good enough. He was convinced to follow doctor's orders eventually, but it was too little, too late. The man had a lifelong issue with quality perception, and I say that as a massive snob myself.
