Like, yeah, she still has the bangle and her fangirl personality, however having light powers instead of stretchy powers is like an alternate version of the one I'm talking about. Every single one of the MCU characters is an alternate version to the ones I'm familiar with, I've actually read those comics you mentioned since her debut. There have been changes made to all of them. The Avengers game was simply MCU The Game except for Kamala.
