Funny timing that I became a topic of conversation soon after I got busy with family stuff. This is one of the best parts of my day - dad responsibilities slow down for a bit while I sit on my phone in the dark and wait for a little one to doze off.

Firstly, I am actually happy to see this level of engagement emerge from FD. As I thought about the game today I remembered how town FD failed the vibe check pretty spectacularly in BCTs holiday mafia and was mislynched for it on day 1. Instead of bringing that point up (which would have still been with a lot of skepticism about FDs alignment), I feel pretty good about FD being town now.

I dont expect FD to stop being suspicious towards me, and thats fine. Its pretty funny how history may repeat itself. This is reminding me of Blades game where FD couldnt move past the fact I claimed to be Mr. T (which I was!) yet wasnt in the neighborhood with the other three Mr flavors. Damn you housing segregation!

I saw talk questioning the value of who I chose to target and when. I understand but disagree. If you played smash bros mafia, and Im not sure FD did, I will always remember how much of that game was dedicated to discussing town ultis role when we finally got to beetle talk, and saving more beetles to use his role on more advanced items the scum team had or whatever, it sounded like the most ridiculous thing in the world. I dont regret my choice here. Getting ulti to commit directly to being vanilla is a lot better imo than spending 25% of our day on naive neighbor talk because ulti still thinks he has a chance to bait whatever alignment he isnt.
