Not really. If you've been following politics for the last 8 years it's pretty obvious who you'll have to choose. If you know the candidates, I don't see why I have to follow the news to find out what they are like. Americans have seen Trump in office, so with Biden. I don't think there is much left to see. Because you're unaware of just how uninformed the general electorate actually is. Like, maybe the political junkies here could take a break and there'd be little change, however you are grossly overestimating the levels of informed the general public is if that's what you're suggesting.
