People work jobs for the same or worse pay that are much crappier than working generic corporate retail, but these companies know they can staff the bare minimum and people will still shop there. This is true. Once they learn that you will wait 20 minutes for your Tums and you'll come back anyway you're going to be doing that a lot more.
