They went there believing that OJ might be in danger too, so they were only legally able to search where a big, brawny football player's body could legitimately fit. They searched everywhere. A lot of stuff was inadmissible in court since they seized it illegally.
There's rumors that the police really did try to frame him, not realizing it actually was him, and in the end messed it up so badly that he ended up going free. --- Your knowledge of scientific biological transmogrification is only outmatched by your zest for kung-fu treachery! ...
