Pokemon sometimes the way the dex depicts them, like how are most ghost type Pokemon allowed to live in cities? How are humans, who are lacking compared to Pokemon, the dominant species? Sugimori in an interview stated that they want to depict Pokemon in a friendly and charming way even if they have scary backstories via the Pokedex. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/9/99d80c8c.jpg Tajiri, Pokemon creator, conceptualized Pokemon as naturally friendly creatures in the vain of domestic cats and dogs, in his own biography and things he wrote in the 90s he compared Pokemon to cats and dogs. So the series tries to keep true to this but Pokemon are still depicted with having awesome abilities like in RSE. Scintillant posted...
