A lot of the more ardent trumpettes dipped out after he lost, and while some of those were actually due to getting arrested after Jan 6 (SMT's hinted as strongly as he legally can that he was one of them), most of that is just that without the galvanizing factor of "the president agrees with me," they lack the conviction to stand up for their beliefs in a community that disagrees with them. --- This is my signature.
