Nope it isn't. There's a premium battle pass that you can unlock using the currency you get from the regular battle pass, but you still have to earn medals from playing the game to actually unlock stuff. Plus it is only coop, so what exactly is paying to win going to do in it? All updates will be free, and the battle passes do not expire so you can play the game at your own pace. It is an absolute BLAST to play though, and $40 is a steal. [LFAQs-redacted-quote] It is doable but it is extremely difficult solo. Playing with others is kind of required for the harder difficulties.
