that's why it was so easy to sell yoga pants as everyday wear, women are used to having no pockets anyway. forces them to buy a purse.

I've seen yoga pants with pockets and they seem uncomfortable lol. But I know what you mean.

Pockets are sewn shut in order to prevent lint or air pockets from entering during storage. Just cut the thread open dude.

I've literally never seen this before on any other clothes anywhere. Also there was already a small ish hole in it.

To be honest, I've never encountered something like that, >.< . We tend to have very, VERY small pockets that are basically just there for esthetics, but I've never seen what is essentially a fake pocket.

Yeah I remember getting pants as a kid that had a tiny tiny pocket inside my pocket that was for change I think? And that's more than what women get altogether.... It's crazy.
