Failing jumps and grabs when it has manual controls is peak skill issue

Say what you will about the classic TR games and there's a lot you can say, one thing you can't do is blame the controls when you fuck up. You're in full control and it's on a grid.

When the newer games started auto-mating everything and got confused what you were asking it to do, then you can blame the game.

If you don't press jump or you don't press grab or you don't get the distance right on the run up, that's on you.
