TopicTrue Detective season 4 finale was one of the worst I've ever seen.

I experienced that with the finale to Night Country. The cleaning ladies were presented as heroic figures, as defenders of truth and justice, when in reality the audience views them as the psychopath mass murderers they are. The cops are complicit, and a horrific crime went down and I'm wondering why this is all being shown as if the good guys are winning. It's like bizarro land.

I see the women as being cold and vengeful rather than psychopathic. The researchers all collectively deciding to murder a woman who set them back a few years is way more psychotic (and silly) to me. Danvers and Navarro letting the women off the hook is in character for them, but having the mystery of the researcher's deaths be the thing we're all wondering about as viewers and then to have it resolve itself like that was really unsatisfying. Danvers herself being satisfied with what happened didn't scream "the good guys won" to me, though.
