Man, I feel you on the hearing loss, for me it's the other way around. I lost a lot of mid and low range hearing but my highs/treble recognition improved to compensate. These 990s are almost too warm for me, I need to crank the e10k to uncomfortable levels to get the balance I want. Fatigue is real.
