Metroid is a good choice, DK is cheating because the rest are 3rd gen to 4th gen, when DK is 1st gen to 4th gen. It wasn't a transition, it was a new series. And the Donkey Kong is actually a Mario game, not a Donkey Kong game. --- My sister's dog bit a hole in my Super Mario Land cartridge.
