as a trans user i can say it certainly sucked pretty bad waltzing on here and seein ppl happily use it as a proxy troll method wherein they are clearly smarmily praising the games existence, as a thinly veiled jab with plausible deniability

i simply didn't click those threads sure. but that shit weighs on u. when ur takin it from all sides by family, passersby, law makers, and people online, that shit weighs on you. its human nature. whether you believe it or not, whether youre made of stone or not, over enough time it gets internalized

Its still one the highest selling games of the year, and the game itself had nothing to do with JK Rowlings awful views. Id say most posts about the game here werent trying to harass trans people. The game existing does not need to be a jab at trans people. A fuck ton of people wanted a high budget harry potter game and know nothing about JK Rowling as a person.

You fully admit you didnt even click on the threads, so you have no idea what was being said in them. People using the game as an excuse to attack trans people are vile, but the game itself should not be banned from all discussion.
