So, I like airsoft stuff. I've never been big into guns, but air guns are kind of cool and offer target shooting for less investment. Fun, right? Well, the last 3 days have convinced me I'm a dipshit.

Two nights ago I'm firing at cardboard with steel bbs on a 400 fps airsoft revolver. I shoot my hand twice on accident; I'm raising both hands, fire early because I'm clumsy, then just twitch a second shot. Nothing awful, but my left hand hurts and it bled a bit.

Tonight I cast aside my concerns and practice again; this time I fuck up again and shoot myself in my hand, this time in a vein, causing comical amounts of blood. I am actually traumatized by it. Currently drinking whisky and nursing the wound; it stopped bleeding after 3-4 minutes with pressure, but it's the scariest injury I've ever had.

Lesson learned: I'm either too dumb or clumsy (or both) to operate an airsoft gun, let alone a firearm. Be careful, folks
