deadline for day 1 is on tuesday. Tuesday is my in 1 weekly in-office day at work and also the day I hang out with my mother for a few hours after work.

I don't mind being in a group of late-daters in principle, but tuesday is the hardest day for me to 100% commit to EoD availability.

I also don't think that discussing mechanics in a completely brand new format is an odd thing to do. I feel like the alternative would be to NOT recognize that this game is differently and then be surprised when people who paired up early basically just disappear and stop posting all day because they are safe. Pre-empting that kind of anti-town behavior seems useful to me.
