The quality of right wing lies has really gone down.

Back in the day, right wing assholes could put on a plausible dog and pony show for their lies in front of the entire UN.

Now it's just shit posts that are so obviously false they are an insult to everyone else's intelligence. And the authors of said shitposts aren't just smelly misanthrope Nazis polluting their parents' basements and online forums -- they are the highest elected and appointed GOP officials in the nation.

it's because the actual smart republicans are all retiring/dying out/being driven out and replaced by the truly stupid trump/boebert/mtg types. there are basically no more mitch mcconnell types that are evil but incredibly effective. almost all of them are now the idiots who would rather lose elections with candidates like kari lake than take the chance of winning with someone who doesn't glaze the cult and its leader.

the trumpers have lost virtually every major swing state election since 2018, and they are doubling down on the losing formula. when they lose again in '24 they will just lash out with impotent rage and continue to nominate insane morons while bleeding the kinds of voters they need to win national elections in competitive states. they can elect as many boeberts and cawthornes and gaetz types in safe districts, but those people will never win the toss ups and the gop will continue a slow but violent death
