I have always preferred to pre-order in-person since the local gamestop I go to is like 5 minutes away from where I live and its extremely rare the in-store preorder shipment gets screwed up. Hell my deluxe edition physical FF7 rebirth was ready soon they opened the doors so the stores had it for awhile it seems. It sucks when the only way to get a certain limited or collector's edition is via the company's online store.
