kirby i can't say that i didn't have this same thought.

kind of reads like peaf took your acceptance for granted and expected it. why leave if he's not certain you'll accept?

That, I won't deny. FD more or less said the same thing to me on N1.

And really, all I have to say for that is who the hell knew what Peaf was thinking. Ultimately, as scum, I could've very easily saved him. So why didn't I?

If it was a planned scum gambit given the situation, surely Peaf would've informed his team that he was gonna be absent at EoD, so I would've known that if I were scum.

But the real heart of the problem is: if that situation was planned at all, why did Peaf end up dead? The answer in my eyes is that Peaf did something completely unplanned, totally on his own, and ate dirt for it.

Otherwise, the only answer is that somehow JC, Dumey, and Peaf were all scum, so they had to choose who to kill off since they were the final three, and Peaf got the short straw. But that requires all three of them to agree to abandon safety and risk their lives for a scenario where it logically made zero sense to break up with anybody.

So yeah, I'm extremely convinced Peaf tried something fancy, made the fatal assumption that I'd just choose him, didn't have a back-up plan in place since it was such a spur-of-the-moment decision, and then paid the price.
