I was always concerned about how AI would be used for political subterfuge, however more so in regards to deep faked video. And from what I heard in the BBC reporting, as well as those Trumpers who sent out Biden robocalls telling people to not vote in the NH primary, the audio is far more believable because images still have their issues everyone knows about. If they ever catch anyone disseminating these deepfakes, their punishments need to be harsh. Both at the criminal level (fraud, misinformation) and civil level (defamation). --- "How is that a religious topic?
