Trying to find the perfect setup can kind of get into the realm of OCD so that they lose sight of the game. oh i feel it back in the day i'd spend weeks selecting mods only to never play it but now the process is so streamlined it's silly. i can have a clean install running 1k+ mods in under an hour these days. the only caveat is the shitty collections that have useless dependencies within their manifests to force you to use their collection i remember trying to mod a list i was using to have my argonians/khajiit use digitigrade feet, and the only way i was able to get around it was to download an oldrim mod, select the oldrim mod to overwrite the collection mod, then download individual textures/packs for all footwear and it got even more complicated when i added in the mod that diversifies khajiit into the dozenish major breeds ...
