And from what I've read in books and stuff they generally don't shoot and kill non-affiliated people. If you get killed by the mob it's because you were involved with the mob generally.

As I stated earlier street gangs are still considered organized crime. They might not seem as good at it as the mob but the point is they have organization. Ranks plans schemes operations etc

And they are more dangerous. My brother got targeted to kill just as a initiation thing
