I firmly stand by the opinion that Damian Tenma is one of the most underrated one-off characters in the franchise; both stoic and hilarious, a top-tier father, and just an all-around great guy. But I really want to see more of his wrestling persona in an illustration. I just feel like he would be charismatic as fuck. Damian Tenma rules.

It's animals time! Orla takes 14th just based on the fact that of the animals, she already has the most spotlight put on her, so she kind of needs this the least. You know you still want to vote for an orca whale to win a character popularity poll, though. If you don't want this to happen we don't agree on what this poll is for.

It's birds time! I couldn't really decide where to put these guys, really, or in what order. You would probably still get Sniper if you voted for Herman Crab, because that's Sniper's house, but still, why vote for Crab when you could vote for Penguin? Rifle's an even better pick though. There's better representation for awesome dads in this poll than awesome moms - moms need love too!

But I think Taka is best bird. A quietly hilarious aspect of Blackquill himself, Taka deserves recognition all of his own. He is just a Very Good Bird and yes I absolutely want to see art of Taka. Look, Taka doesn't even have a proper profile pic. Taka needs this.
