Her mistake was talking to the police. She shouldn't have admitted shit about her intentions. Maybe her son just likes super-electrolyte infused Gatorade on occasion. He can drink what he wants even if it is kinda gross.admitting that she made the drink knowing the bully was going to steal it was a mistake. Play dumb, deny all knowledge of the drink being weird.
