I feel bad for people who find no sense of purpose, joy, or fulfillment without work.

I mean, its good to contribute of course, but if I never had to work again, Id be the happiest motherfucker on this planet.

About ten years ago, I was out of work for about three months because of an injury. A lot of people insisted that Id be so bored that I wouldnt be able to wait to get back to work.

Let me tell you, there was not a single second that went by where I was like Id rather be at work right now. Aside from the pain, that time in my life was absolutely amazing. Not having to spend my day hauling groceries, getting screamed at by obnoxious customers and incompetent bosses getting to just chill and do whatever I wanted. Absolutely amazing.
