You aren't a New Yorker until you have a misadventure on the subway, it could be erotic, it could be weird, it could be gross, it could be violent but it could be certainly be a memory.

And finally,

You aren't a New Yorker until you've seen people walking slow and staring up at the skyscrapers and either cussed at them to get out of the way or muttered "Damn tourists" while passing them.
