I doubt modern audiences would resonate with the more outlandish supervillain plots anymore. Jason Bourne changed the game, and that's why the Craig era was the way it was. Moonraker, The Spy Who Loved Me, and the like were great at the time. They're still watchable today. But as new releases? Eh... I think that was true 15-20 years ago when the Bourne movies came out and the Bond folks did Casino Royale, but at this point I think many people would like a return to form, so to speak. People love the Marvel movies and they're full of over the top supervillains and plots. You don't have to go super ridiculous anyway. Just don't be so dry. I think there's a happy medium. Dark_Arbron posted... But, I'm curious, what do you mean by "what everyone loves about JB movies?" I'm interested. Just the typical formula with the fun gadgets and cars, the quips, the fun.
