That is correct. TC is cheerleading for Uber and Lift. TC is siding with decisions made with full consideration for the real world impact of those decisions, rather than a fantasy-based approach where consequences, justified or not, don't exist. Rather than pretending these companies wouldn't do exactly what they said (and are) doing, they should have been thinking about how to resolve those issues in the bill itself. Instead they commissioned a study, voted prior to the results, found out their own study didn't agree with them, and are now desperately backpedaling because of the outcome of the vote.
