Given the absolutely ridiculous timeline of support for DBZ Fighterz, Xenoverse 2 and Kakarot who all got like 4 years or more of support and DLC and new fighters and such, Im inclined to disagree. If the initial sales are strong, then sparking will take the same route post launch. That's actually a pretty good point. Budokai and Budokai Tenkaichi had gotten to the point of doing lazy yearly releases.
