It's not about hiding it as much as being able to downplay it in general society. Even in this topic, we have someone straight up defending a person with symbols and messages we all know to be bigoted AF. I'm doubtful they would say that if the truck instead said "We hate Jews and support slavery". However, the obfuscation means these people can operate in the open. --- Fan of metal?
