Immortality is a fate worse than death.Is it, though, really? The only "proof" we have of this concept is fiction, since immortality isn't real. We don't know what happens after death. Heck, for all we know, death is just immortality but without the ability to move, speak, or act in any way. I know I'd sure take regular immortality over that. I know we like to think the "curse of immortality" pervading fiction is the moral stance, but honestly? I'd love to live forever. There are so many things I want to do that I could never do them all in one lifetime. And I want to watch this world change and evolve. There are things I want to see happen that I know won't come about before the end of my natural lifespan. ...all that said, I dunno about being a vampire. It'd be nice to go out in daylight on occasion, and I really don't love the idea of drinking blood.
