Purdue played the better game down the stretch, making fewer mistakes and better shots (though it was mostly FTs over the last 8 minutes; if they were a better FT shooting team, it wouldn't have even been close). Nothing for Tennessee to really hang their heads about, it just wasn't their year.

I'll be curious to see what Edey does professionally because on the one hand, he's 7ft gd 4 inches tall. On the other hand, he's extremely slow and doesn't have very good defensive acumen (though he has most certainly improved throughout his career). 15 years ago, he's an easy 1st rd pick. With today's highly athletic bigs that shoot from range, I wonder if he even gets picked at all. I wouldn't be surprised if he plays in Europe or China.
