I don't care about online complainers I can just scroll past but my nana who I live with is moaning about anything she can feasibly moan about and its driving me up the wall a bit.
Not always like this she just has various moods that last for several days sometimes she'll be very happy but its a bad one this time cos she moaned about me making dinner half an hour earlier than usual (omg so what ?! half 11 isn't ridiculously too early to eat) then she moaned about how boring tv is then she said about a person she talked to was annoying her but she ranted about them long enough. Then she says situational remarks about every little thing and has the need to comment on anything I don't mind if it's valid but she's nitpicking at the smallest of details that I don't even notice like "you put more squash (cordial for my uk brethren) than usual, why?" I just say
"I'm filling the cup more than usual" or something.
She vents her sometimes valid sometimes not problems then she moans I don't have interesting conversation, I try to add something to what she says and she ignores it, doesn't take the advice, or says she can't or its just wrong. When I vent about something like my boredom or how i feel hopeless in the grand scheme of things sometimes she tells me to stop and deal with it i dont understand your point of view just try harder (not in these words but she acts like my thoughts are drabble) but I let her vent to me about the most mundane things.
