After learning the current price of fast food in California - it makes all the corporate bootlicker arguments even weaker.

The big macs are already ridiculously overpriced, may as well make it so fast food workers can buy fast food on their wages? Also seem these fast food chains make massive profits even if they have to pay their workers a living wage.

It didn't have weight to begin with. They tried to do this same shit when talk of $15/hour was mentioned a few years ago. You had the same exact shit of "Oh, you want to pay $20 for X item, cause that's what's gonna happen!!11" Then it was pointed out that places like Seattle already had $15/hour and they weren't paying $20 for their shit and... then nothing. People just ignored it and kept saying if you raise worker wages you will have to pay $20 for a Big Mac.
