I envy that you can turn off the news so you can never hear these persistent talking points across mainstream media and conservative media, and yet still come here and post as though you follow the news. mistymermaid posted... Well obviously the idea is to claim that paying higher wages would force companies to raise prices in order to continue projected profit growth, because that's our economic model. Massive profits are not enough, the profits must also increase in % continually every quarter. But Americans would rather cry for the billionaire shareholder possibly making slightly less profit this quarter than thousands and thousands of American workers struggling to pay bills or losing jobs. mistymermaid posted...
