#34:

Sonic 2
Aladdin
Streets of Rage 2
Gunstar Heroes

Sonic 1 should be here too but I like variety. A bit more context for Sonic 2: Sonic 2 was one of the first video games to have a massive pre-release marketing campaign and be released across the entire US at the same time; besides the fact it's a fucking great game, Sonic 2 played a giant role in redefining how video games are promoted and released.

Aladdin was also really popular, apparently made Nintendo so envious it influenced Donkey Kong Country, and having a Virgin/Disney game on the Genesis rushmore sounds right to me, Streets of Rage might be the more resonating IP with Genesis fans besides Sonic and 2 is still one of the most popular beat 'em ups ever, Gunstar Heroes is the Treasure (also important devs to this system) run & gun game that is still so defining (like how you can see its DNA practically everywhere in even modern games like Cuphead)

HMs: all the other Sonic games, Phantasy Star II-IV, Shining Force 1/2, Vectorman, Golden Axe, Toe Jam and Earl, Earthworm Jim, John Madden Football, Mortal Kombat, Michael Jackson's Moonwalker, The Revenge of Shinobi, Ecco the Dolphin, Castle/World of Illusion, Altered Beast, Streets of Rage 1
