Higher octane gas resists pre ignition, or knocking. So if a car says to use a higher octane than regular, it's a good idea for the engine's health to do so. I'm no car expert but someone told me it wasn't a bad idea to use premium once in a blue moon. Something about burning off residue in the lines or some shit Not that I do it though. I'm cheap. Did put premium in once because for some reason the pump wouldn't let me choose anything else and it wouldn't let me back out of the transaction. So I just put like 5 bucks in and rolled on somewhere else. --- I put my heart and soul into my work and I fear I have lost my mind in the process ... Copied to Clipboard! |
