I thought my fries were just out on the doorstep a bit too long, but that does sound like my experience.

The chicken didn't have much topping to it. It was all a bunch of sandwiches, some with slightly spicy sauce, most with pickles on breaded chicken. The chicken was just much higher quality than I would expect from any chain, very 'clean'. And there's the whole factor of getting a fuckton of food for free, by surprise. Like, I'm pretty sure surprise birthday parties were designed to make cheap cake taste better.
