I still feel like Cannon is doing this as a signal to the Republicans that the next time there's a supreme court seat open she'd like to have it and she's proven she's loyal to Republicans that she'll do whatever they want regardless of how bad it looks, she'll gladly be a bought and corrupt judge for Republicans even fi she's not getting paid. The desperation is disgusting and worst thing about it is I can see her being on the federalist society's short list for a seat because of it because those traitors and their Project 2025 shit definitely want more judges like her in as many high levels of government as possible
