Grand Theft Auto 3 Gran Turismo 3 Metal Gear Solid 2 Final Fantasy X All launched within 8 months of each other in 2001. Wild first year (not to mention Devil May Cry!). Gran Turismo 3 was Sonys highest selling game ever for like 15 years and really pushed the racing genre to new heights. The rest are self-explanatory --- I just decided to change this sig.
