| archizzy 04/06/24 9:29:07 PM #7: | Dragon Quest is greater than FF. But for me that is because Dragon Quest hasn't fallen off. To me peak FF was better but it has been poor for a long time now. Dragon Quest is still great.
As for FF for me my top 3 in no order are FFVII original, FFX, and FFT. But realistically that run from VI to X is just awesome except for VIII. The only miss. But man has it been poor the last 20+ years when it comes to mainline games. The only title I have enjoyed and that felt like a FF game was World of Final Fantasy. The series is dead to me in its current form. I always remain slightly hopeful for another great game someday.
