It would certainly be possible to be "true center" by American politics, but it would probably look very different than what most people imagine - because most people don't understand the actual nature of the American political divide.

The media portrays a right and a left, but, that scale is really more like "slightly right" to "far right", with no left at all being represented. Anytime in American politcs than leftist ideas get represented, it's mostly by morons, and is construed to be absolute crazy talk. (ie the Green New Deal and AoC)

I'm not going to pretend progress is quick or easy. Greed and social hierarchy are so entrenched in society, it creates a considerable barrier to achieving a status quo of the Green New Deal variety.

But quitters deserve nothing. I resent those who complain improving the world will take too long.
