Exactly. Those sitting at home have the advantage of watching replays and can see the whole field/court. The officials have to make split-second calls and can only see so much since they're there in person and often watching whoever has the ball/puck. Thought it was funny we had a ref for our football games that was a gym coach for our school. You'd think there would be unfair bias but nope he spent more time harassing the people holding the chain or whatever they use to show where the first down point is. And when he did actually ref he was harsher on our team. Nit relevant to this but it just popped into my head --- I put my heart and soul into my work and I fear I have lost my mind in the process ... Copied to Clipboard! |
