See, I don't really know terminology. I do know from experience that switching up exercises, even ones that use the same muscles, makes me sore in a different way the next day. So clearly switching things up is beneficial to rounding out muscle build all over.
Yes. The big 5 compound exercises are bench press, squat, deadlift, shoulder press and pull up.
