The stax l500mk2 w/ the l700 earpads actually sounds quite clear and amazing w/ my clogged ears. normally it sounds very shouty (when im not sick) and makes me fatigued after like an hour lol. makes my tinnitus worse for a few hours

oh and it does lack subbass so i don't really recommend it if you like electronic music unless you are willing to blutack its earpads to create a good seal but that's still iffy because very dependent on head shape. i can't get a good seal out of it

i do prefer the l500mk2 /w l700 earpads over the stax sr009s which cost several times more. like wtf happened w/ that headphone.
